SAFETY IS NOT JUST ANOTHER WORD.
AT LIBERTY, IT'S A WAY OF LIFE.
Safety is a lifestyle and a behavior that all employees must honor. We believe that our most valuable asset is our team. We respect the dangers that exist in the power generation, mining and refinery environments, and believe that while it may be impossible to be incident free forever, it is not impossible to try.
At work, just as in life, we believe in PRACTICE, PRACTICE and more PRACTICE. Safety is never out of focus, and our policies, continuous training, and commitment to our employees by promoting their active participation in our safety program help us to complete each scaffolding and insulation job in a safe, efficient and incident free manner for our customers.
LIBERTY INDUSTRIAL: AN ACCREDITED SCAFFOLDING TRAINING INSTITUTE

Here at Liberty, we pride ourselves in maintaining the highest levels of safety in the industry. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that Liberty Industrial Group is now an Accredited Training Institute with SAIA.
SAIA (Scaffold & Access Industry Association) has awarded accreditation to fewer than 100 companies nationwide. As a qualified training institute, we pledge to carry our same level of impeccable attention to detail from the job site into the classroom as we train the next generation of industrial scaffolders.

National Insulation Association: 2020 Platinum Safety Award
For three years running, Liberty is the proud recipient of the National Insulation Association’s (NIA®) Platinum Safety Award. NIA issues the annual awards to recognize industry leaders: companies with clear and structured safety programs in the mechanical insulation industry.
We’re honored to be selected as one of the nation’s safest insulation installers.

Liberty Industrial Group proud to be ISNetworld RAVS Plus Participant
Liberty Industrial Group is proud to be selected by ISNetworld (ISN) as a RAVS Plus Participant. In order to be selected, ISN Review and Verification Services (RAVS) conduct an in-depth audit that certifies written health and safety programs and how those programs are implemented. The audit also includes staff interviews to determine their level of knowledge and compliance with our written health and safety policies. We are proud to be only one of 10% of ISN participants worldwide to be selected for outstanding commitment to safety!
“Employees are the greatest asset of a company. Liberty Industrial Group is one of the SAFEST and MOST EFFICIENT CONTRACTORS ever to work at our plant. Liberty is not the cheapest, but the QUALITY OF SERVICE YOU PROVIDE, as well as how you treat your employees, MAKES YOU THE BEST.”

“Liberty has one of the best safety management systems that I’ve seen since I started auditing contractors — and I’ve been in this business for 40 years.”
SAFETY: THE MEASURE OF OUR SUCCESS. PERIOD.
EVERY PERSON. EVERY JOB. EVERY TIME.
At LIG, we focus a lot on safety. It’s woven through every fiber of our company. These are just a few of the things we do every day to make sure that our people get home safe and sound.
LIBERTY’S SAFETY APP
Liberty’s innovative Safety App brings safety awareness and participation to a new level. Daily Field Level Assessments, Job Safety Analysis, and Audits are easily completed and forwarded for learning and accountability. Its ease of use ensures timely submission of safety reports and accessibility of information throughout the team. This results in more active participation by all, allowing immediate, real-time feedback from the TEAM. (Read more here)
TOP-DOWN COMPLIANCE
Safety starts at the top: every employee, regardless of position, is expected to complete safety and training modules on a frequent basis. When it comes to safety, there are no ranks. We encourage EVERYONE to speak up if they see a potential problem.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL
We foster and encourage a climate of accountability: if you see something, say something. Everyone has the right to safety, and we are responsible for one another, from the bottom of a mine, to the conference room, to the top of the highest scaffold.
MONTHLY NEWSLETTERS
In addition to daily check-ins and weekly safety meetings, our Director of Safety and Risk Management writes a monthly newsletter, discussing on-the-job safety, new safety policies, and publicly commending those employees with exemplary safety records. The newsletter is distributed companywide, from the president to the teams in the field.
NOBODY'S PERFECT.
BUT THAT DOESN'T STOP US FROM TRYING.
Training is such an integral part of our success that we regularly invest in seminars and modules to further educate our employees. It’s this extensive training that creates team cohesion and enables our employees to build faster, safer platform supports.

CONTINUING EDUCATION
With continuing safety training and certification programs provided to all our employees and supervisors, Liberty Industrial Group leads the industry in safe working environments. We regularly complete safety and training modules prepared by the finest companies in the industry. See OUR AFFILIATES for more information.

OPEN COMMUNICATION
We promote an open line of communication regarding job site safety and ethics. All employees—from the President down to the newest laborer in the field—are encouraged to speak up to prevent potential incidents before they occur. Safety equates to value for our customers.

WORKER CONFIDENCE
If a task is unsafe, we will not proceed. Ever. We trust our employees to follow both standards of safety and their own common sense. Safety Inspectors are regularly dispatched to all job sites, allowing Liberty to maintain the highest standards of secure working environments, while quickly resolving any potential problems that may arise.

INNOVATIVE TRAINING
LIG has developed custom, interactive training programs to support employee education and development, and assist in asset management. Our training modules include all employees, from craft to upper management. We believe that we must continue to evolve as a company to become safer, smarter, better service providers for our customers.
The training our employees receive ensures that our customers can be confident that they have entrusted their critical projects, capital and maintenance funds to a highly skilled, competent, knowledgeable, well-educated TEAM.

ACCREDITATION
Liberty Industrial Group recently received accreditation from the Scaffold & Access Industry Association (SAIA) to become one of a select few industry experts qualified to teach scaffold competency. We are honored to be regarded as leaders in our field, and we take the responsibility of worker safety seriously.

CLEAR FOCUS
Each morning before work begins, every employee completes a SAFETY CHECK-IN, describing why they maintain safety throughout the day. Our favorite check-in included a sonogram picture–one of our managers had just found out his wife was expecting. These daily reminders help focus our priorities: Safety First.

UNANNOUNCED INSPECTIONS
Every project we undertake is assigned a Four-Tiered Team, including Project Manager, Safety Inspector, Administrative Staff, and a Workforce. In addition to the daily safety inspections required on every job site, we frequently send Safety Specialists into the field–often unannounced. We like to catch our employees doing something right.

CLIENT EDUCATION
LIG provides training to our customers in basic and competent scaffold use, and scaffold use safety, in an effort to keep everyone safe, aware, and knowledgeable of potential hazards surrounding scaffolding in the workplace.
LIBERTY INDUSTRIAL GROUP’S SAFETY POLICY
